COLLECTOS · FOUNDER & PRODUCT MAKER

A lasting home for the things that tell your story.

I conceived, designed, and built Collectos end to end—an AI-assisted product that helps people document meaningful objects and continue the stories around them. It is also my laboratory for modern product leadership: strategy, UX, brand, architecture, implementation, and iteration working as one system.

Scope

Founder vision · Product strategy · UX and brand · Hands-on build

Mandate

Create a calm, durable product for documenting what matters and why.

Complexity

Structure deeply personal meaning without reducing it to sterile metadata or social performance.

How I built the product from zero

Collectos gave me direct ownership of every consequential decision—from the emotional premise and content model to the interface, technical architecture, and path to a live product.

Human meaning first

Design around identity, memory, and care—not monetary value, transactions, feeds, or gamification.

One durable content model

Connect Collections, Items, Stories, and evolving Events so meaning can deepen over time.

AI in service of authorship

Use AI to reduce friction, organize information, and accelerate delivery while keeping human judgment in control.

Collectos Mobile Experience

Designed mobile-first, Collectos makes it easy to capture an object, add its context, organize it into a collection, and return as the story evolves. The flow stays focused in the moment without sacrificing depth.

Mobile, End to End

The end-to-end flow moves from capture to organization to reflection, showing how the product turns a quick mobile action into something people can build on over time.

Collectos Admin Dashboard

The admin experience provides the operational foundation for moderation, user and content management, configuration, automation, and quality as the product scales.

Architecture built for iteration

I built Collectos with Next.js, React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Radix, Supabase, Cloudinary, and Vercel. The architecture supports secure data, rich media, accessible components, AI-assisted workflows, and rapid iteration without treating technical decisions as separate from the product experience.

One responsive product system

The desktop experience expands the same content model for deeper browsing, creation, organization, sharing, and storytelling—demonstrating one coherent system across devices rather than separate mobile and desktop products.
